How long does carpet cleaning take to dry?

Most carpets are dry within 2–6 hours depending on pile thickness and ventilation. Opening windows significantly speeds up drying. You can walk on the carpet immediately — just wear clean socks. Avoid replacing heavy furniture for at least 2 hours.

What cleaning method do you use?

We use professional Prochem hot water extraction — the industry gold standard. It injects hot water deep into the carpet pile and extracts it along with dirt, bacteria, allergens and stains. Far more effective than dry cleaning or steam cleaning. Safe for all carpet types including wool and delicate fibres.

Is it safe for children and pets?

Yes. All our cleaning solutions are child and pet safe. We recommend keeping pets off the carpet until it's fully dry (usually 2–4 hours). Children can walk on damp carpet in clean socks without any concern.

Do I need to be home during the clean?

Yes, someone needs to be present to let us in and confirm they're happy with the results before we leave. We won't sign off a job unless you've seen it first.

Can you remove stubborn stains?

Most stains respond very well to hot water extraction — including wine, coffee, mud, pet accidents and general soiling. Some permanent stains (bleach, certain dyes) cannot be fully removed by any cleaning method. We'll always give you an honest assessment before we start, and won't charge extra for pre-treating stains as part of the service.
